John Riley Bruner was born in 1864 in Exira Iowa. He died in 1941 in Madison Wisconsin. It is not known why his tombstone has the wrong birth date and wrong death date. Cemetery records indicate there is a Mrs. John Bruner buried in the same location. I do not believe that is true because I have accounted for all five of his wives. I have been told that the cemetery records are not good.
