Walter F. Ristow

Walter F. Ristow, 72, 800 Chippewa St., Merrill, died in a hospital there at midnight Wednesday after a two-weeks illness.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in the Taylor Funeral Home at Merrill, with the Rev. Harold Quail, pastor of Our Savior's Lutheran Church there, officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in the town of Scott, Lincoln County. The body will be at the funeral home at noon Saturday.

Mr. Ristow was born April 4, 1892, in the Town of Maine. He married Clara Kienbam Sept. 11, 1915. She died Oct. 6, 1934, and he married Bertha Pergande April 20, 1935 in the Town of Corning, Lincoln County, She survives.

Mr. Ristow has been a bricklayer.

Surviving besides his wife is a daughter, Mrs. Keith Moses, Pasadena, Calif., six brothers, Hugo, who lives in Canada, Alex, Merrill, William, Town of Maine, Daniel, 509 Rib Mountain Drive, Elgard, 132 Rosemary Lane, Alfred, 209 Callon St,; four sisters, Mrs. Mathias Soukup, 509 N. Fifth Ave., Mrs. Emil Tesch, Town of Rib Mountain, and Mrs. Adeline Ringstad and Mrs. Harold O'Brien, both of Minnesota, and one grandchild.
