Daniel Ristow
Daniel Ristow, 69, 1321 N. First Ave., Wausau, died at 6:35 p.m. Wednesday in a Wausau hospital after a long illness.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Wausau. The Rev. Anthony Fischer will officiate and burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Friday. A parish rosary will be said there at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Mr. Ristow was born April 11, 1899, in the Town of Maine, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Ristow. On June 24, 1935, he married Adeline Springer, who survives. Mr. Ristow was employed at the Hoffmann Co. and was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons.
Survivors, besides his wife, include two son, Danny, Wausau, Route 4, and Robert Carl, 146 Williams St., Wausau; three daughters, Mrs. Arnold Apfelbeck, 1130 S. 10th Ave., Wausau, Mrs. Raymond Mullen, Rib Mountain, Route 4, and Mrs. William Nickels, Chicago; three brothers, Alex, Merrill, Alfred, 209 Callon St., Wausau, and William, Merrill, Route 5; four sisters, Mrs. Adeline Ringtead and Mrs. Harold O'Brien, both of 50 Lakes, Minn., Mrs. Mathias Soukup, 609 N. Fifth Ave., Wausau and Mrs. Emil Tesch, Dahlia Lane, Rib Mountain; and 13 grandchildren.
