SHELDON, John V, age 90,died January 8, 2007 in Mt. Pleasant, MI. John served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
He married Frances Moening on October 13, 1946. He was employed as a lab operator for Dow Chemical before retiring in 1978 after 25 years of service. John also worked a number of years for Pure Oil. He was a member of the Shepherd VFW, Eagles, in Clare and the American Legion in Sanford. He enjoyed car collecting, especially Cadallics.
John is survived by his children Dale, Janis, Lois and Roy, 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and sisters Mabel and Doris.
He was preceded in death by his wife Frances, sisters Laura, Rosie, Minnie, Alma and Millie and brothers Wilber and Oren.
