FRANCES C. SHELDON
Frances C. Sheldon, 71, of Mt. Pleasant, died Friday, June 3, 1994, at the Isabella County Medical Care Facility in ML Pleasant.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Berry Funeral Home in Shepherd with Phil Smith officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens in Mt. Pleasant.
Mrs. Sheldon was born March 18, 1923, in Shepherd, the daughter of Ilah (Curtiss) and Frank Moening. She married John Sheldon on Oct. 13, 1945, in Mt. Pleasant.
A lifelong resident of the area, she was employed by the Mt. Pleasant Regional Center for Developmental Disabilities, retiring after 15 years of service.
Mrs. Sheldon is survived by her husband John, two sons, Dale and his wife Carol Sheldon of Holland and Roy Sheldon of Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Janis Britten of Lansing and Lois and her husband Richard Hacker of Mt. Pleasant; seven grandchildren; three brothers, James and his wife Gloria Moening of Traverse City, Melvin and his wife Helen Moening of Midland and Joe Moening of Pittsfield, Mass; and two sisters, Dortha and her husband Woody Biando of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Joan Kaczynski of Midland.
She was preceded in death by a sister, June Steed, and a brother, Calvin Moening.
