LEWIS VIRGIL was the son of Jefferson Virgil and Hannah H. Long Frazee.

Lewis married Miss Sarah Ann Smith on May 18th, 1869 and their children were as follows, William Fleming "Willie" Frazee (my great-grandfather), Sarah Hannah Frazee Brown, Mary Ann Frazee Shepherd, Matilda Jane Frazee White, Rosella Frazee Wooten and Nathan Grover Frazee, born 1888. Sarah Frazee died in August of 1888 after giving birth to her son Nathan Grover.

On September 18, 1896 Lewis married his second wife, Fannie Levina Cooper. Their children were, Lillie Mae Cooper Smith (daughter of Fannie), John Cooper Frazee, Virgil Lewis Frazee, Olive Susan Frazee Rose, George Washington Frazee and Walter Frazee.

Lewis was a farmer and he died of organic heart disease (mitral valve), he lived 76 years, 9 months and 14 days and is buried by his second wife Fannie Levina at the Cooper Cemetery in Greenup County, Kentucky.
