WILLIAM FLEMING "WILLIE" FRAZEE, (my great-grandfather) was born in Greenup County on August 16, 1871, he was the oldest child of Lewis Virgil and Sarah Ann "Sally" Smith Frazee.

He was married to Miss Florida Duncan, daughter of Lawson Wheatley and Mary Frances Canafax Duncan, on December 2, 1888 and my grandmother Sarah Frances Frazee Pence was born on September 2, 1889 in Greenup County. It is not known how long Willie and Florida were married, they divorced and Willie kept my grandmother Sarah Frances and raised her. Sarah Frances married John Cleveland Pence, son of Joseph and Margaret Ann "Annie" Tomlin Pence, they raised a family of 13 children, also raised a Pence nephew, Lannie. Cleve and Frances moved from Carter County, to Quincy, Lewis County, Kentucky, around 1930, where they lived until their deaths.

On April 9th of 1896 Willie was married a second time to Miss Milia Ann Lambert, she was the daughter of Samuel and Phinetta Lambert, their children were as follows- Milton J. "Milt" Frazee of Bonser Run, near Portsmouth, Ohio, Nettie Harriet Frazee Bush of New Boston, Scioto County, Ohio, Lewis J. Frazee, Henry Riley Frazee of Sciotoville, Ohio, Clyde E. Frazee of Stockdale, Pike County, Ohio and Doris A. Frazee.

The 1930 Federal Census lists William "Willie," Millie and their son Clyde as living at Kenton, Greenup County, Kentucky. Willie was listed as a farmer and Clyde, age 15, as a farm laborer.

He was a member of the Southern Methodist Church at Kehoe, Greenup County, Kentucky.

Around 1940, Willie and Millie moved from Greenup County, Kentucky, to Ohio. At some point they lived at Bonser Run, near Portsmouth. Millie died in October of 1950 and was buried at the Quincy Methodist Cemetery.

Willie was a retired farmer, he died at age 84, of complications of kidney disease on October 19, 1955 at the home of his son Milt, where he had been residing, at Bonser Run, Sciotoville Rt. 2, near Portsmouth, Scioto County, Ohio. His funeral was conducted at the Quincy Methodist Church with the Rev. H.O. Logan officiating. The Gill Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. He was buried at the Methodist Cemetery at Quincy beside his wife Millie.
