David "Curtis," was last of William Dudley & Mary Arminta (Owens) Smith's 13 children.
"David Curtis Smith, by Mary Smith Murray - David Curtis Smith came to the Goldendale area of Washington Territory in 1879. He married Ellen Evans in 1896. Their children were: Robert, Dewey, Pearl, and Virgil. Curtis moved to Wapato after the deaths of his wife and Dewey. He joined his brothers in establishing Smith Brothers Meat Market.
He married Olive Kitchen in 1912 and Mary was born in 1917. Enroute to Portland in 1927 Curtis died. Olive and Mary returned to Wapato."
