"Mrs. Hamilton Dead - Word was received here Wednesday of the death in Spokane of Mrs. W.M. Hamilton, for several years a resident in this city. Deceased had been suffering from an internal malignant growth for the past year, and about two months ago was removed to Spokane for the purpose of consulting specialists. Later an operation was performed but no relief could be given.

Death occurred at the home of the sister in Spokane. Deceased was about sixty years of age at the time of death. Of a kind and gentle disposition always, she bore her sufferings during the past year with the same fortitude which marked her life previous to the time when the disease which carried her away made its appearance. She was well known in and about Wapato and the many friends of the family extend their heartfelt sympathies. Remains were interred at Spokane."
