Funeral services for Ole Aanenson were held at Our Savior's Lutheran church Sunday afternoon, Rev. J.O. Mundhal officiating. Pallbearers were Issac Olson, Sam Hoiland, Simon Birkeland, Sam and Ole Barstad and Harry Olson. Burial was in Maplewood cemetery. Mr. Aanenson died at his home last Thursday morning after an illness of one week although he had been failing for sometime. Death was caused by influenza and asthma.

Ole Andreas Aanenson was born in Konsmo, Norway, July 31, 1884. At the age of 15 he immigrated to America and came directly to Luverne. He lived here for the remainder of his life with exception of two years spent in North Dakota and seven or eight months in Sioux Falls. He was married to Otelia Olson in Luverne on Sept 6, 1911 and to this union 13 children were born, 12 of whom with their mother survive. They are Thelma, Orville and Norman of Magnolia; Alfie, Olga, Alma, Norma, Gordon, Howard, Ramona, Orla and Marlene at home. Two brothers Theo. Aanenson of Luverne, and Tobias in Norway, and one sister, Mrs. R. Nelson, of New York, also survive.
