Aanenson Rites Held At 2 p.m. Last Saturday

The funeral of Theodore Aanenson, 75 (sic), long time resident of Luverne, was held September 6 with services at the home at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. at Zion Lutheran church. Burial was in the Maplewood cemetery, Rev. P. K. Lawrence Buiede, officiating.

Mr. Aanenson died at his home after being ill for the past one and half years. Death came at 6:30 on September 3.

He was born in Konsmo, Norway, March 30, 1887 (sic) and came to this country May 9, 1898, He lived in Rock county most of his life. He also lived in London, South Dakota (sic) from August 1902 to 1907. He attended schools in Norway. He was engaged in farming both at London and in Luverne. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran church.

He married Anna Louise Moi, November 25, 1907 in Luverne. Besides his wife, he leaves three daughters, Mrs. Sig (Selma) Gyberg, Luverne; Mrs. Charles (Luella) Braa, Rapid City, South Dakota; and Mrs. Harold (Lillian) Roemeling, Augusta, Michigan; and seven sons, Alex Arnie Selmer and Edwin all of Luverne; Aanen, Chicago, Illinois; Erling and Theo Jr., both of Sioux Falls. A son, five brothers and two daughters preceded him in death. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.

He also leaves a sister, Mrs. Randi Nelsen, Carle Place, L. I.

Pallbearers at the funeral were Alex, Arnie, Selmer, Erling. Theo and Edwin Aanenson, sons of the deceased. Honorary pallbearers were Tallak Vegge, Jens Thorson, Ole Kvass, Ole Refnes, Gabriel Thompson and Jens Jensen, Ole Refnes, Gabriel Thompson, Ole Kvass and Jens R. Jensen. Funeral arrangements were in charge of the Johnson Funeral Home.
