CHARLOTTE TORGERSON

EAGLE GROVE, IA - Charlotte Torgerson, 69, of Eagle Grove died of a stroke Wednesday at her home. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ellsworth. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery there.

Mr. Torgerson was born in Austin, Minn. She retired as a cook for the Memorial Union at Iowa State University in Ames. She was a member of Trinity Church.

Survivors include five daughters, Mary McAlister of San Marcos, Calf., Cleo Christiansen of Norfolk, Va., Minnie Henry of Webster City, Patricia Johnson of Duncombe and Betty Ann Adams of Eagle Grove; a son, Ernest of Seattle, Wash.; three sisters, Marcea Wetzel of Austin, Dorothy Barber of Charles City and Ardyth Soper of Hartland, Minn.; Three brothers, Floyd Baxter and Richard Baxter, both of Austin, and Gaylord Baxter of Pine City, Minn.; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Becker Funeral Home in Jewell handled the arrangements.
