Mrs. Robert Withee, nee Hazel Baxter, 53, died, Monday at a hospital in Medford, Ore.
Her address is P.O. Box 186, Shady Grove, Ore. She was formerly of Austin. Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Jaqueline McLaughlin, and six sons, Jack Withee, Roy Withee, Duane Withee, Henry Withee, Earl Withee, James Withee, all residing on the West Coast; several grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Raymond (Marcella) Wentzel, Mapleview; Mrs. Charlotte Torgerson, Eagle Grove, Iowa, Mrs. James (Dorothy) Barber, Charles City, Iowa, Mrs. Wilson (Ardith) Soper, Hartland, Minn.; three brothers, Floyd Baxter, Gaylord Baxter, Richard Baxter of Austin; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held in Shady Grove.
Hazel I Withee
Funeral services for Hazel I Withee, 54 of Crater Lake Highway, Shady Cove, who died Monday, will held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Perl Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul Bauer, pastor of the Shady Cove Community Church, will officiate. Visitation hours at the Perl Funeral Home will be until 8 o'clock tonight.
Mrs. Withee was born Feb. 12, 1919, at Austin, Minn. She lived in Saloma, Calf. for several years, where she was employed as a technician at the Saloma State Hospital. For the past six years, she had made her home in the Shady Cove area.
On Dec. 13, 1968, at Winemucca, Nev., she was married to Robert P. Withee, who survives.
Additional survivors include six sons, Jack Baxter, Guerneville, Calif., Roy Hall, Seattle Wash., Dwayne Hall, U S Navy, Henry Hall and Jim Hall, both U S Marine Corps and Earl Hall, Santa Rosa, Calf.; one daughter, Mrs. Ann McLaughlin, Guerneville, Calif.; and seven brothers and sisters.
