Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, March 31, 1989 at Mendenhall Colonial Chapel with Dr. Lonnie Wilbourne officiating. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements and burial was at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in New Hebron.
Survivors include a brother, Archie Bass, Sr. of Pinola; 3 sisters, Marzia Brown of McComb; Leona Bush of Mobile; Gertrude Smith of Vicksburg.
