Betty B. TOMBAUGH, 80, Warsaw, formerly of Beaver Dam Lake, Claypool, died 6:50 p.m. Friday at Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw.
Born in Akron to Roy and Loa HALDEMAN MORRIS, she married Robert L. TOMBAUGH on Aug 5, 1943 in Indianapolis. He died July 19, 1992.
Mrs. Tombaugh was a teller at Akron Exchange Bank.
Survivors include two nieces, Melissa ALEXANDER, Silver Lake, and Jenny GAST, Akron; two nephews, Mark GAST, Claypool, and Matt GAST, Rochester; two brothers-in-law, Wayne TOMBAUGH, Mentone, and Albert JENNENS, Rochester.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Suzanne GAST and Kathleen JENNENS, one brother, Jack MORRIS, and one niece, Becky HILL.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, with Rev. L. Robert NELSON officiating. Burial will be in Akron Cemetery. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. today at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or Hospice.
