Loa Morris
Mrs. Loa MORRIS, 75, R.R. 2, Akron, died at 10 a.m. Sunday at the Murphy Medical Center in Warsaw where she was a patient four days. Death came after an illness of one year.
She was born May 14, 1892, in Fulton county to Henry and Sarah LEININGER HALDEMAN and had spent her lifetime in the Akron community.
Her marriage was in 1916 to Roy "Jack" MORRIS, prominent Akron livestock breeder,who preceded her in death. Mrs. Morris was a member o the Akron Church of God and the Pollyanna club of Akron.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Betty) TOMBAUGH, R.R. 1, Claypool; Mrs.Al (Kathleen) JENNENS, Akron, and Mrs. Tom (Suzanne) GAST, Akron; one son, Jack D.
[MORRIS], LaHabra, Cal.; ten grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Harvey (Mary) STERLING, Akron, and Mrs. Ernest (Edna) HUNTER, Fort Wayne. Four brothers and one sister preceded in death.
Last rites will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Akron Church of God with the Revs. Harold CONRAD and J. D. THOMASON officiating. Burial will be in the Akron cemetery.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday until 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Haupert funeral home in Akron and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
