The remains of H. G. Burgess, who died at his home in Kingston, IL Tuesday will arrive here tomorrow afternoon and be taken to Pierceville Cemetery for interment with Masonic burial service. Mr. Burgess was a brother of A. M. and Claude S. Burgess of Sun Prairie and S. T. Burgess of Madison and was born and raised in Pierceville. He was 71 years old October 26, 1924. He had been away from his old home locality since 1885. For several years he was station agent at Henrietta, near Kingston, and the last work of his life was that of a rural mail carrier. Besides the three brothers, he leaves his wife, whose maiden name was Ida J. Chalmers of Deansville; and one daughter.
