A native of Jasper County, she had been a resident of the Kentland community until moving to Goodland in 1957.
In 1929 she was married at Kentland to Leslie W. Burman, who died in 1970.
Mrs. Burman worked several years at Dormeyer Industries before retiring.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Nancy) Hageman of Rt. 2, Remington; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Marjorie Pratt of Lafayette and Mrs. Jean Hartman of Lowell; one stepson, Robert Burman of Rensselaer; four brothers, Harold Garriott of Williamsport, James Garriott of Ambia, Robert Garriott of Attica, and William Garriott of Boswell; and five sisters, Mrs. Clarice Bierley of Brook, Edna Burman of Kentland, Mary Mcintosh and Laveme Fix, both of Williamsport, and Helen Cripe of Attica.
