Calvin the fifth child of Isaac and Glacie Butler Myers was born in Kentucky while his parents were enroute to the Mississippi Territory. He spent his early years in the Natchez District. Later he moved to Rankin County where some of his children were born. He married Matilda ? who was born in South Carolina.
