`Vinny' Davidson
MILAN, Ill. - Services for Vinial "Vinny" Davidson, 89, formerly of 844 10th St. W., Milan, will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Larson Funeral Home, Milan. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Mrs. Davidson
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.
Mrs. Davidson died Sunday at Davenport Medical Center.
She was a nurse at the Osteopathic Hospital, Davenport, from 1949-69.
Vinny Shipley married Raymond Otis Davidson in 1922 in Gerard, Kan. He died in 1974.
Mrs. Davidson was a member of Church of Christ and a charter member of the Church of Christ in Davenport. She also was a member of American Legion Auxiliary of Milan.
Memorials may be made to Iowa Masonic Nursing Home, Bettendorf.
Survivors include daughters, Kathern Behren, Wilma Fuller and V. Viola Kunst, all of Milan; and Shirley Cover, Davenport; a son, Billy R., East Moline; 29 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Bessie Bardon, Hill City, Kan., and Gladys Bane, Mount Joy, Iowa; and a brother, Glen Shipley, Mount Joy.
