Gladys Bane
MOUNT JOY, Iowa - Gladys M. Bane, 79, of Mount Joy, died Saturday at Genesis Medical Center-West Campus, Davenport.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Runge Mortuary Chapel, Davenport. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.

Visitation will be 3-5 and 6-8 p.m. Monday.
She was employed as a salad cook at the for-mer El Rancho Villa Restaurant, Davenport, before retiring.
Gladys Shipley married Theodore Sims. He preceded her in death in 1950. She married Otis Bane.
She was a member of the Bunco Club, Davenport.
Survivors include her husband; daughters, Betty (Mrs. Elbert) Karr and Sharon (Mrs. Ned) Seemann, both of Davenport, and Hazel Thompson, DeWitt, Iowa; sons, Melvin Sims, Davenport, Charles Sims, Norfolk, Va., Glen Sims, Seattle, Wash., Kenneth Sims, Austin, Minn., and Gary Sims and Floyd Sims, both of Davenport; a stepson, Bob Bane, Davenport; 22 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; a sister, Bessie Barden of Florida; and a brother, Glen Shipley, Mount Joy
