The daughter of James and Margaret Ann Campbell Kelsey; mother of 12 children. She was the wife of James Wesley Shipley.

Longmont Time-Calls, Friday, August 21, 1931
Mrs Georgie Shipley, 48 years old, of this city died in a Denver hospital Thursday afternoon following a short illness.
Mrs Shipley was born Feb. 18, 1883, and came to Longmont Jan. 10, 1928 from Kansas.
The deceased is survived by her husband, James W Shipley, and two sons, Wesley and Glen, of Longmont. Seven daughters are living, Mrs Vinial Davidson, Kansas; Mrs Bertha Mahan, Mrs Ruth Bane, Mrs Rachel Huber and Gladys, Levone, and Bessie Shipley of Longmont.
Surviving relatives include four brothers, Mike Kelsey and Ed Kelsey of Kansas, Elmer Kelsey, Missouri, and Abe Kelsey, Montana. A sister, Mrs Gertie Bolton, live in Kansas and another sister, Mrs Nettie Sharp resides in Summerset, Colo. Seven grandchildren also survive.
Time of the funeral services will be announced later.
