Edna Mae Davis Jones, 92, formerly of Logansport, La., died Dec. 21, 2008, in Bossier City. She was born Sept. 28, 1916 to William Green Davis and Iva Bell Davis.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Archie Nolan Jones.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Richard Siler of Russellville, Ark.; one granddaughter, Dianne Edwards and husband Nolan; three great-granddaughters: Laura Edwards, Melissa Edwards, and Stephanie Edwards Lane and husband Jesse.
She is also survived by a sister, Martha Louks and husband Jim Alabama, a number of beloved nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Paul Gorges of Shreveport.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008, at Bistineau Baptist Church in Heflin, La.
