Funeral services for Alvin Lavone "Jack" Davis, 82, of Baton Rouge were held Saturday at Riser First National Funeral Home Chapel in Winnsboro with the Rev. Paul Perry officiating.

Interment followed at Harris Cemetery under the direction of Riser First National Funeral Home.

Mr. Davis died Wednesday, Sept, 29, 1993 at Riverview Hospital in Gonzales.

Survivors include three daughters, Laverne Klier, Baton Rouge; Jean Kelly, Longview, Texas; Joan Hollingshead, Adrian, Mo.; one son Glenn Davis, Theodore, Ala.; four sisters, Edna Jones, Logansport; Joyce Woodward, Phoenix, Ariz.; Martha Louks, Montgomery, Ala.; Jean Watts, Baton Rouge; two brothers, Durwood C. Davis, Red Chute, La.; Willie B. Davis, Raleigh, N.C.; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Martin Klier, David Klier, Jimmy McDonald,
Mike Hollingshead, Larry Gill and Bobby Wayne LaBorde.

Honorary pallbearers were Ray Strickland, Stanford Poland and Richard E. Williams.
