PHILIP K. SIBLEY, BURLINGTON - Philip K. Sibley Sr.. 67, died Feb. 24 at his home. He was born in Burlington Sept. 5, 1907, the son of George and Azuba (Preble) Sibley. He was a lifelong resident of Burlington and a member of the Burlington Congregational Church. He is survived by his wife, Diana Mushero Sibley of Burlington, four sons, Philip Jr ., of Burlington, Richard of Auburn, Dennis of Lincoln, and Clayton of Fort Sill, Okla.; three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Sibley of Scarboro, Mrs. Vivian Stone of Lexington, N.C., Mrs. Shelley Wood of Clearwater. Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Jipson, Lincoln. Mrs. Annie Tripp, Mattawamkeag, Mrs. Margaret Smith of Portland; 18 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Barton Funeral Home in Lincoln, the Rev. Gary Kinney and the Rev. Glenn Speed officiating. Spring burial will be in the Mount Repose Cemetery. Friends may call at, the funeral home Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friends who wish may contribute to the Burlington Congregational Church in memory of Mr. Sibley.
