In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Stone, Sr.; daughter, Colleen Stone Miller; granddaughter, Elizabeth Pritchard; and two siblings, Dorothy Sibley and Richard Sibley.
Surviving is her two daughters, Libby Stone McQueen of Graham and Belinda Stone Efird of Thomasville; one son, Jimmie Stone, Jr. and wife Peggy of the home; one sister, Shelley Stropparo of Lexington; three brothers, Dennis Sibley, Clayton Sibley and wife Vickie, and Phillip Sibley, all three of Maine; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family members.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 25, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Hughes Grove Baptist Church with Rev. John Hill officiating. The family will greet friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice of Davidson County for their loving care.
