MRS. ARCHIE SHOREY, PATTEN - Mrs. Miranda A. Shorey. 75. wife of Archie Shorey, died Nov. 22 at a Millinocket hospital. The daughter of George and Auzulia (Preble) Sibley, she was born in Burlington Aug. 1, 1899. Surviving are her husband; four sons, Charles Curtis of Clinton, Conn., Ralph Curtis of Branford, Conn., Lawrence and Glenwood Shorey, both of Branford, Conn.; four daughters, Mrs. Geraldine Harriman of Burlington, Mrs. Vienne Ward and Mrs. Viola Scales, both of Branford, Conn., Mrs. Joyce Harvey of Patten; a brother, Philip Sibley of Burlington: three sisters, Mrs. Annie Tripp of Poughkeepsie, N. Y., Mrs. Margaret Smith of Portland, Mrs. Mary Jipson of Lincoln; 29 grandchildren, and 29 great - grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Barton Funeral Home, Lincoln, with the Rev. Michael Kerrigan officiating. Burial will be in Lowell Cemetery, Lowell.
