He is survived by two sons, Mikheil R. (Kelly) Crotz of West Peoria and Kriston C. (Michele) Crotz of Denver, CO; five grandsons, Orrin, Brandon, Tilor, Curtis and Karl; three brothers, Bingo Crotz of West Peoria, Jim Crotz of Arizona and Kenny Crotz of California; three sisters, Betty Abbey of Peoria, Marilyn Wilkins of Rome and Cheryl Brown of West Peoria; eight adopted sons and one adopted daughter.
He was a Vietnam War US Navy veteran and was awarded the Bronze Star. He worked at Caterpillar, Inc. for 30 years until he retired in 2007. Charles attended St. Ann's Catholic Church and was an active member of Knights of Columbus #4333 St. Jude Council Third Degree.
Services were entrusted to Wright and Salmon Mortuary of Peoria, Illinois.
