MRS. H. JONES DIES IN CALIF.
Funeral Services For Former Deer Flat Resident Friday
Funeral services for Mrs. Hannah L. Jones, 76, former Deer Flat resident who died Sunday night in Los Angeles at the home of a daughter, will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Case Funeral chapel. Interment will be in the Canyon Hill cemetery beside the grave of her husband, Joseph H. Jones, who died in 1925.
Mrs. Jones was born in Provo, Utah, January 29, 1861. She married Mr. Jones there in 1881 and in 1899 came with her family to Emmett where she lived for some time.
She also made her residence at Boise for several years and then took up a homestead in the Deer Flat community where she lived with her husband and family until the time of Mrs. Jones' death. Since that time she has lived in Los Angeles with two daughters, Mrs. L. L. Tempest and Mrs. George A Stites.
Besides her two daughters in Los Angeles, Mrs. Jones is survived by another daughter, Mr. H. P. Morris, of Rexburg, Idaho, two sons, Eugene Jones and Glen Jones, both of the Lakeview community, south of Caldwell.
Mrs. Jones was a member of the L. D. S. church all her life.
