EASLEY - Chillicothe, Tex., Feb. 5 - John Ellington Easley died at his home, eleven miles south of Chillicothe, Sunday night at 12 o'clock of pneumonia. Mr. Easley was born in Talladega County, Alabama, Aug. 19, 1836, and moved to Texas before the war and settled in Cass County,near Douglasville. He served in the Confederate Army four years, in Ector's Brigade, and made a gallant record.
