Thomas Gilligan, Suring, Succumbs

Suring, Wis. - Thomas M. Gilligan, 78, of Suring, Rt. 2, died at his farm home after a herat attach Thursday morning. He was born at Kelly Brook, Town of Spruce, May 24, 1877. His wife died in July 1954.

The body is at the Soulek Funeral Home, Suring where the Rev. Robert Hogan will conduct the last rites at 9:30 Monday morning. Burial will be in the Hickory Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7:30 tonight.

Surviving Mr. Gilligan are four daughters, mrs. Erwin (Evelyn) Kessler of Kelly Lake, Mrs. Leola Baccus of Fond du lac, Mrs. Lester (Ellen) Ludeman, Laona; two sons, Bernard, of Hickory, and Norbert, Laona; a brother, Lyle, of Gillett; three sisters, Mrs. Dan (Margaret) McDonell, Gillett, and Mrs. John (Lillian) Hoeffs and Mrs. Adolph (Rose) Otto, Laona; 38 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
