Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the First Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Jack Dell officiating. Burial will be in Brunswick Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers will be Billy Boyd, Ed Price, Hiram Love, Lee T. Joyner, Jr., Emmett Bonnett and Howard Henderson. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. William J. Laws, Dr. William Humphries, Gail Rose and members of the Bible Sunday School Class.
The body will remain in the funeral home and will be placed in the church one hour prior to services. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9 o'clock tonight.
Surviving are two daughters, Reatha Lane of Mt. Pleasant and Lurlyn McRae of Del City, Okla.; two stepdaughters, Betty Gaines of Del City, Okla. and Barbara Hinkle of Watonga, Okla.; a sister, Sallie Turner of Baxley; two brothers, Tom Burns of Jacksonville and Richard Burns of Dublin; 31 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Owen was a native of Johnson County and was a resident of Brunswick from 1943 until 1962. After moving to Oklahoma City, she returned to Brunswick in 1982. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and the Bible Sunday School. She was a former employee of Brunswick Manufacturing Co.
