Anna Kraft Jensen, 75, died March 16, at United Medical Center West. She died unexpectedly as a result of a Brain Aneurysm.

Anna was born Oct 21, 1922, in Blue Grass, North Dakota, to Jacob and Anna Marie (Zimbelmann) Kraft. She is the 12th child in a family of 17 children. She moved to the Bridger and Billings area when she was child and lived in Red Lodge,Montana, before she moved to New Castle, Wyoming, and where she met and married Arthur C. Jensen. He had moved from Nevada to New Castle, Wyoming, to work on the oil rigs.

Anna spent her married life moving from one wildcat oilfield location to another. She lived in over 40 towns in the Rocky Mountains while her husband, Arthur Jensen, went from being a roughneck to being a drilling superintendent for 8 drilling rigs while working in the western states.

Anna's hobbies included applique and solid embroidery quilting, cooking, gardening, crocheting, playing pinochle, bingo and spoiling her family. She has lived in Cheyenne for 20 years and was a member of Zion Congregational Church.

Mrs. Jensen's eyes were donated to The Foundation Fighting Blindness for research in the disease of Retinitus Pigmatosa, and through this donation a research team was able to find the genetic map for the inherited sex-linked chromosome .

Mrs. Jensen is survived by her husband, Arthur C. Jensen, one daughter, Lucy Simpson, Cheyenne, and one granddaughter, Angela Ekker, Denver; four brothers, Edward Kraft, Emanuel Kraft, Albert Kraft, Boots Bruce Kraft, and and one sister, Peggy Kraft all from Billings, MT.

She is preceded in death by her parents and 5 sisters and 6 brothers.

Services were at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Weiderspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes.

Poem read at Anna's Funeral...

"Most of all the other
beautiful things in life
come by twos and threes,
by dozens and hundreds:
There are plenty of roses,
stars, sunsets, rainbows,
brothers and sisters,
aunts and cousins,
but there is only one mother
in the whole world."
