Loami, IL June 4--Mrs. Mary T. Dodd, one of the oldest residents of Sangamon county, died at 4:30 o'clock this afternoon at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Nancy Weir, aged 91 years and 4 months.
The deceased was born in North Carolina Feb. 5, 1815, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Jones. She was married to Charles Dodd at the age of 16 years and was the mother of twelve children, six of whom survive as follows: Mrs. Nancy Weir and Mrs. John Mahard of Loami; Joshua Dodd of Fulton, Mo.; James Dodd of Lowder, Charles Dodd of Waverly, and Jesse Dodd of Springfield.
She is also survived by a number of grand children and six great-grandchildren. She hd been an invalid for several years.
The funeral will take place from the M. E. church at a time to be decided upon later and the interment will be made in Sulphur Springs Cemetery.
