Mrs. Frances Gertrude Shoaf, 610 Court St., Fulton, died Sunday, March 15, at the Callaway Memorial Hospital.
She was born Dec. 6, 1926, to Robert and Bessie (McCall) Matteson.
She is survived by nine children, Carol Davidson, Ronald Shoaf, Jerry Shoaf, Joyce Bruce, Bobby Shoaf, all of Fulton, Brenda Hickman of San Antonio, Tex., Dennis Shoaf of Kokomo, Ind., Kenny Shoaf of Columbia, and Tammy Shoaf, Monroe City; five brothers, Charles Matteson of Des Moines, Iowa, Henry Matteson of New Bloomfield, Robert Lee Matteson and Elvin Matteson, both of Fulton, and Harold Matteson of Taos; two sisters, Ophelia Pryer and Dorothy Opperman of Independence; two half-sisters, Myrtle Autenrieth of Fulton and Bonnie Holt of Shell Knob; and 13 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Maupin Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 18. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday afternoon and evening. -Fulton Daily Sun-Gazette, Tues. Mar. 17, 1981
