Mr. Ireland was the son of Asa William 'A. W.' Ireland and Mary Frances 'Frankie' Hughes Ireland.
Mr. Ireland was survived by his wife, Mrs. Iva Louise Anderson Ireland of Harrison County, KY and two children; Mary Evelyn Ireland and Eugene Clifford Ireland.
He was also survived by his mother, Mary Frances 'Frankie' Hughes Ireland who was critically ill at the time of his death and who passed away within the next two weeks on November 21, 1918.
Mr. Ireland was also survived by two sisters and three brothers; John Robert Ireland (Mattie); Joseph S. Ireland (Ollie); Hendrix Ireland (Effie); Stella Ireland Forsythe (Fred); and Allie Ireland Haley (Charles)
Mr. Ireland was predeceased by two brothers; Cleveline Ireland (Bessie); and
Wesley Ireland (Ollie), both in 1911.
Funeral services were conducted at the grave in Jacksonville Cemetery on Sunday, November 10, 1918.
