Eugene E. Stallbaumer, 61, Seneca, KS, died Thursday, January 15, 1981, at a Seneca hospital. He suffered an apparent heart attack.

He was born May 28, 1919, at Seneca, the son of William and Anna Engelken Stallbaumer. He attended St. Mary's School, St. Benedict, KS.

Mr. Stallbaumer farmed in the St. Benedict community until he moved to Seneca two years ago.

He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, St. Joseph Society of the church, Earl W. Taylor Post No 21, American Legion; all at Seneca. He was an Army veteran of World War II and served in Germany.

He married Mary Hulsing on April 15, 1950, at St. Benedict. She survives.

He is also survived by daughters, Jean Ann Stallbaumer, Topeka, KS; Mrs. Rosemary Henry, Topeka, KS; sons, Alan Stallbaumer, Seneca, KS; Stephen Stallbaumer, Seneca, KS; Max Stallbaumer, Bern, KS; sisters, Mrs. Florence Fangman, Seneca, KS; Mrs. Edna Sack, Corning, KS; Mrs. Alma Sack, Denver, CO; Mary Ann Huninghake, Baileyville, KS; brothers, Walter Stallbaumer, Seneca, KS; Melvin Stallbaumer, Seneca, KS; Sylvester Stallbaumer, Seneca, KS; Herman Stallbaumer, Seneca, KS; Victor Stallbaumer, Baileyville, KS; Paul Stallbaumer, Centralia, KS; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Seneca, KS. Burial was in the church cemetery.
