She was the daughter of James N. L. Quinton and Ellen Floyd Quinton. She was of the Christian faith and held to the Missionary Baptist belief. She married Jack E. Palmer on Oct. 5, 1968, and lived in Antioch, California until he preceded her in death in 1984. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack E. Palmer, her father, James N.L. Quinton, her mother, Ellen Floyd Quinton, one sister, Lillie Henson, and three infant brothers.
