Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ann Westfall, 25, Town of Hamburg, who died Monday night of an asthma attack while en route to a local hospital, will be held Friday morning at 11 o'clock in the family home and that afternoon at 2 o'clock in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Town of Hamburg, with the Rev. Herman Schedler officiating.
Interment will be in the church cemetery. The body will be taken to the church after the morning rites, which will be private. The body will be taken to the family home this afternoon from the Stieber Funeral Home at Marathon.
A life-long resident of the area, Mrs. Westfall, the former Mary Ann Gruling, was born March 19, 1928, in the Town of Hamburg. She was married May 2, 1952, in Minnesota to Roy Westfall, who survives. Also surviving are her mother, Mrs. Robert Gruling, Town of Hamburg; a daughter, Melody Ann Westfall, at home; five brothers, Theodore and Victor Gruling, Eagle, Walter Gruling, Wausau, Route 3, Gerhardt Gruling, Merrill, and Robert Gruling, Town of Hamburg, and six sisters, Mrs. Walter Sodke, 805 S. 12th Ave. Mrs. Ervin Kriehn, Town of Hamburg, Mrs. Raymond Riemer, Mrs. Herman Mohrland and Mrs. Lawrence Kriewald, Merrill, and Mrs. Robert Tierney, 1039 S. Eighth Ave. Wausau.
