Theodore Ernest Paul Gruling, age 85, of East Troy, WI. died Thursday., March 7, 1991, at Linden Grove Health Care Center, Waukesha, WI. He was born Aug 31, 1905 at Hamburg, Marathon Co. WI. the son of Robert and Otillie (Zastrow) Gruling. During his lifetime he worked in Wausau, Milwaukee, Waukesha, and had farmed in the Eagle, WI area. He retired from Waukesha Motor Co. 20 years ago and then lived in East Troy, WI. He is survived by his wife Dora (Guetzke)Gruling whom he married July 11, 1931, at Lannon, WI. Waukesha Co. WI. He is the father of Mary Ann (Howard) Marquardt of Eagle, WI. Alfred of East Troy, WI. Theodore (Florence) of North Prairie, WI, Delmar (Jean) of Waukesha, WI., June (Arlen) Carroll of Fort Atkinson, WI. Franklin of Palmyra, WI. Frederick of East Troy, WI. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 10 great-Grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren; 4 brothers: Walter of Wausau, Victor (Lee) of Montello, WI, Gerhardt (Elaine) of Merrill, WI, and Robert (Eppie) of Merrill, WI; 5 sisters: Elisa Sodke of Wausau, WI, Betty (Robert) Tirerney of Wausau, WI, Olga Kriehn and Viola Morhrland both of Merrill, WI, and Hattie Riemer of Hamburg, WI; nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sat. March 9, at ST Paul’s Lutheran Ev. Church, East Troy, WI, Pastor Timothy Kujath officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen/Quarterline Cemetery town of Troy, WI. Friends may call from 4:00 until 9:00 p.m. tonight at Mealy’s Funeral Home, Eagle, WI and from 12:00 noon until time of services at the church Saturday
