Agnes Marie Ruder, 93, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 9, 2003, at St. Ann's Nursing Home, Oklahoma City, OK. She was born September 19, 1909, in Schoenchen, KS to Joseph Anthony and Catherine (Werth) Dinges. She grew up on a farm near Schoenchen, KS.

On May 20, 1930, she married Alfred Ruder. They were happily married for 62 years.

She enjoyed fishing, camping, playing bridge, bowling, golfing and traveling. Many hours were spent in her kitchen preparing wonderful meals for her family and friends. A devout Catholic, she was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and the Altar Society.

She was a loving mother of two sons, Maurice, and wife Frankie of Yukon, OK, Norman and wife Susie of Rio Verdes, AZ and Hays, KS; granddaughters: Susan Lee and Jolene Ruder, Yukon, OK, Linda Ruder of Hays, KS and Kathy Taylor and husband Roger of Cave Creek, AZ; two grandsons: Terry Ruder and wife Cynthia of Edmond, OK and Doug Ruder of Victoria, KS; nine great-grandchildren; two great great granddaughters; two brothers: Father Anthony Dinges of Crewe, VA and Frank Dinges of Denver, CO; six sisters: Susie Ubert, Kitty Beyers and Mary Pfannenstiel, all of Hays, KS, Martina Ruder of Plainville, KS, Rose Smith of Lakewood, CO, Pauletta Hamel of Annandale, VA; numbers of loving nieces and nephews, and others relatives and fiends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Bridget Werth and brothers Fidelis and Theodore Dinges, one grandson, N.J. Ruder, and husband Alfred Ruder. Her sister, Bertha Rayl of Dallas TX, passed away on May 9, 2003, the same day that Agnes died.

A Memorial Mass will be held Monday at 10:00 a.m., St. Ann's Nursing Home, 9400 St. Ann's Drive, Oklahoma City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2003, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 215 W. 13th St., Hays, KS with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery in Hays. Hays Memorial Chapel.
