Martina Ruder, 90, WaKeeney, formerly of Plainville, died Wednesday, June 14, 2006, at Hays Medical Center. She was born Aug. 23, 1915, in Shoenchen to Joseph and Catherine (Werth) Dinges.

She married Edmund Ruder on Oct. 15, 1935, in Antonino. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons, Jim Ruder, WaKeeney, and Don Ruder, Fountain Valley, Calif.; two brothers, Frank Dinges, Denver, and Father Anthony Dinges, Crew, Va.; three sisters, Susie Ubert, Hays, Catherine Beyer, Hays, and Paulie Hamel, Annandale, Va; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturay at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Plainville; burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Moore-Overlease Funeral Chapel, 409 S. Cochran, Plainville, KS 67663. There will be a Ladies Guild rosary at 3 p.m. and a parish vigil at 7 p.m. followed by a Daughters of Isabella rosary, all Friday at the funeral chapel.

Memorials are suggested to Sacred Heart School and may be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
