Born Aug. 26, 1928, in Caldwell County, he was a son of
William C. and Magdalene Roberts Barlow.
A member of Lower Creek Baptist Church, he was self-employed and was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Barlow; and a sister, Mildred Smith.
Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
