She was born April 25, 1924 in Caldwell County to the late William Charles Barlow, Sr. and Magdaline Roberts.
She was also preceded by four brothers, William Charles Barlow, Jr., Henry Allen Barlow, Warren Allen Barlow, and Arthur "Link" Barlow; two sisters, Mildred Jean Barlow Smith and Wilma Claudette Barlow Chastka.
She served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a lifelong member of Lower Creek Baptist Church and a Charter member of Women's Memorial and Red Hat Society.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel conducted by her nephew, Scott Barlow.
Interment will immediately follow Lower Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Military honors will be provided by Disabled American Veterans Division 6.
