Dale Walker Barlow, age 82, of Hibriten Drive, Lenoir, went to be with her Lord Jesus, surrounded by her family on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care. She was born October 27, 1931 in Caldwell County to the late Gaither and Pearl Isenhour Walker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Link Barlow.
Mrs. Barlow was retired from Caldwell Memorial Hospital Medical Records Department. She was a member of Refuge Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Scott L. Barlow and wife Pamela and Joel D. Barlow and wife Alissha, both of Lenoir; one brother, Steve Walker of Gilbert, Arizona; two sisters, Coleen Younce of Hudson and Lenore Carroll of Lenoir; six grandchildren, Scottie, Brittany, Alicia, Makayla and Kaitlin Barlow and Whitney Hatfield; and one great-grandchild, Hayden Hatfield.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Refuge Missionary Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Jerry Woodie and Rev. Rick Bowman. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the church.
