Bertie Noelle Ross Brintle of Leon, OK, was born December 30, 1920, at Leon, the daughter of Cyrus Albert and Carrie Adelaide Harris Ross. She passed away Monday, June 30, 2008, in Mercy Health Love County, Marietta, OK, at the age of 87.

A resident of Love County all of her life, Mrs. Brintle was a homemaker. She and Raymond Brintle were married January 5, 1938, in Ardmore, OK, and he preceded her in death on May 5, 1998. Mrs. Brintle was a member of Leon Baptist Church and had served as church pianist for 73 years. She also enjoyed helping with school plays and musicals, as well as Christmas programs at church and high school graduations. Also active in the Home Extension Group for many years, Mrs. Brintle served as club president and was honored with the State Homemaker Award. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers and three sisters.
