In the death Saturday morning of W.T. Adair, this city loses another old and honored citizen. He was getting well along in years, having been a soldier in the Confederate army, but has steadily held out for several years against the dreaded Bright's disease. Mr. Adair was born In Franklin county Tenn., December 10, 1838, was married there to Miss Caroline Cook, May 15th 1864, by Rev. Ruben Ellis, moved to Okolona shortly after, where he joined the M. E. Church, In July 1895; was a member of the Mason, Odd Fellows and E. of P. lodges, to all of which he was a faithful -and honored member. He was a good honest citizen, and will be mourned by all who knew him.

He was buried Sunday morning under the auspices of the K. of P's.
