Mrs. Mattie Gray Services Held Last Saturday
Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie Adair Gray, a former resident of Okolona, was held at 10 a.m. last Saturday from the Barry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Perry Tanksley officiating. Burial followed in the Odd Fellows Cemetery with Barry Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Gray, who died about 5 p.m. Thursday in a nursing home at Jackson, Miss., had made her home in Okolona most of her life but had been living at the nursing home for the past two years. Prior to that time she had made her home with her sister in Jackson. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Mrs. Gray leaves one sister, Mrs. A. R. Adkinson of Jackson.
