Services Held Tuesday For Miss Adair
Funeral services for Miss Minnie Adair, one of Okolona's oldest residents, were held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday from Barry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Thomas R. Poole officiating. Burial followed in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Miss Adair, who was 88, died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday in the Shearer-Richardson Memorial Nursing Home, where she had made her home for the past 18 months. She was a member of the First Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Gray and Mrs. A R. Adkinson, both of Jackson; several nieces and nephews, including Mrs. George Edwards and Mrs. Pat Purvis of Jackson.
