Trenton - Mrs. Elizabeth Hidy died Sunday night at the Community Hospital, McCook, at the age of 61. She was born Aug.13, 1913 in Weld County,Colo., the daughter of George and Katie Heinbigner. She came with her parents to McCook in 1920 and moved to a farm northwest of Culbertson in 1926. She was married Sept. 28, 1933 at Atwood, Kan., to Lewis Hidy. They lived on a farm north of Trenton. She was a member of the Trenton Church of God.
Survivors are her husband, Lewis: two sons, Clarence Hidy of McCook and Donald Heinbigner of Salem, Ore.: one daughter, Mrs. James (Joyce) Wann of Overland Park, Kan.; 5 grandchildren; her mother Mrs. Katie Eckhardt, Trenton; five brothers, Jake Heinbigner and John Eckhardt, both of Culbertson, Ray Eckhardt and Jake Eckhardt, both of Denver, and Dave Eckhardt, Fort Morgan, Colo.; five sisters, Mrs. Esther Sinner of Denver, Mrs. Katherine Adams of Culbertson, Mrs. Natalie Kern of Huntington Park, Calif., Mrs Darlene Leibbrandt of Danbury, and Mrs Marion Roach of Littleton, Colo.
Services will be a 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Trenton Church of God. The Rev. George Chatham and Pastor Don Dronen will officiate. Burial will be in the Trenton Cemetery. Friends may call at the Herrmann Funeral Chapel in Trenton. A memorial has been established for the Elizabeth Memorial Fund.
